Born and raised in Mississippi, John Tee received his Bachelor of Architecture degree at Louisiana State University and went on to become a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Working in Atlanta for over 30 years, his Southern roots and passion for custom homebuilding combine with a strong appreciation for traditional Southern architecture in every one of his design projects.
“I believe that streets and sidewalks are like a big outdoor room for all the neighbors and kids to gather and go in different directions…And the front porch is part of the outdoor room,” says Tee. “It’s the perfect transition space that brings the outdoors in and vice versa.
