House Plans with Screened Porches

Southerners have a celebrated connection with porches - they offer a place to welcome  neighbors to chat over a glass of iced tea, read a book while catching a breeze in the summer heat, host a luncheon for family, and they make the perfect perch for your canine welcoming committee .

Screened porches add an element of protection from pesky bugs, a staple of life throughout the region. This collection of house plans showcases designs with this desired feature.
