Our Hearthstone stretches out like a mountain manor home. The 6,700 square foot design, by Ken Pieper, makes a striking first impression with its stone clad stair tower and elegant front entry framed by arched timbers.
A vaulted ceiling from the grand entrance carries through the family room extending to both open and covered outdoor living areas and a 180-degree view. The home's kitchen and hearth room are inviting spaces as well with easy access to the grilling porch just off the main kitchen area.
Ceiling treatments vary throughout the main level. In the master, a vaulted ceiling combines with a barrel vault in the bath area for added drama and volume. Typical of most mountain settings, the lower level offers an informal family room, game room, and three bedrooms. Extras may include a bar area complete with a wine cellar if desired.
Just in case you need a little more room to grow, the home's three-car garage offers a bonus space above that can be finished as a hobby room.
