Description
Inspired by eclectic homes built in the 1920s, Chickering Country blends elements of Queen Anne and American Shingle Style architecture to give the patina of a graceful, storied dwelling. Designed by Stephen Fuller, this former Southern Living Idea House features a flowing, open floor plan. French doors lead from the front porch into a spacious entry hall, which offers glimpses of the formal dining room and study. The living room features a vaulted, cathedral ceiling with exposed beams and a rear window wall. An island separates the living room from the kitchen, providing workspace and making entertaining a breeze. The master suite is a restful retreat. Upstairs, three additional bedrooms and a children's study nook open off a central stair hall.
