The Design Approach of Sailer Design, LLC

Alyson Sailer founded Sailer Design, LLC in 2008, building a residential architecture practice based in the Nashville area. Her work builds on traditional architectural styles, with close attention to proportion, meaningful detailing, and the way each room connects and flows within the home. Exterior elements often include defined roof forms, carefully scaled windows, and architectural trim.

Many of the Sailer Design, LLC plans feature architectural elements commonly seen in established Southern neighborhoods, including brick and painted siding exteriors, dormer windows, columned entries, and balanced front elevations. Inside, kitchens are often positioned near the center of the home, with the primary suite located on the main level, and secondary bedrooms grouped upstairs or set apart in separate areas of the home. The layouts show an emphasis on symmetry, defined hallways, and intentional room placement rather than wide-open, undefined floor plans.
