DESCRIPTION

With a full basement and a foundation that extends to form a porch, Sweet Bay is a cottage in a class all its own. Designed by William H. Phillips, Jr., of Dauphin Island, Alabama, this house plan is perfect for sloping lots.

The practical floor plan flows smoothly. The foyer leads the way to the living and dining rooms. A stairway in the living room provides access to the full finished basement. A large family room and two bedrooms with private baths are located at this level. Sliding glass doors in the family room open onto the wraparound porch, which supplies additional covered space for outdoor entertaining.
