DESCRIPTION

Camellia Cottage captures the Southern spirit with its broad porch and uncomplicated lines. Designed by William H. Phillips, Jr., of Dauphin Island, Alabama, the cottage offers 3 bedrooms and 21/2 baths in about 1,790 heated square feet. Overall dimensions of about 32 x 42 feet suit the house to a small lot. Standard sizes in building materials make the design affordable. Inside, simplicity and comfort characterize the floor plan. Nine-foot ceilings on the first floor and careful placement of windows and doors create the feeling of a much larger space.
