DESCRIPTION

On the front gable, a carved, decorative swag dresses our Contemporary Classic house. A graceful porch extends a warm welcome.

Designed by Frederick Spitzmiller and Robert Norris of Atlanta, the house combines traditional styling with a comfortable and more contemporary floor plan. The house features a story-and-a-half center section and two single-story wings. Outside, pale stucco walls, a white wooden portico, and dark-green shutters emphasize the look of tradition.

Inside, the floor plan is traditional but updated. Wide cased openings off the center hall and between the dining room and great room take the place of conventional doors. The kitchen includes in-line and island work centers, a breakfast area, walk-in pantry, laundry, and mudroom.
