40 All Time Favorite House Plans for 40 years!

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Southern Living House Plans, a business we started in 1981 by partnering with some of the region’s best architects to offer construction drawings at a fraction of commissioning a new one yourself. The first plan, Vernacular Cottage (SL-101), was designed by Dean Winesett, a master of classic residential design from Hilton Head Island, SC.
